‘Let’s Get Away’ is about making changes, re-taking control and moving on. Written a full 19 years before being recorded, the songs lyric is as true today as it was when Simon wrote it – go ahead and do the things your heart desires, and do them with the people you love the most.

Listening highlights in the track includes a searing lead guitar, played by Simon’s great friend and long-time musical cohort Stéphane Hébert, along with some majestic strings in the outro, courtesy of producer Martin Lascelles, that seem to be urging the listener to “lock the house and drop the keys back through the door” before you load up the car…drop the clutch…and just drive.
