Written and recorded at home in France during the Coronavirus COVID-19 lockdown, in what he jokingly refers to as ‘the Utility Room Sessions’, Holding On is Simon’s very personal reflection on being separated from the ones you love. All instruments on this track are played by Simon, and the vocals and production are also his own.
