This is a song about empathy. The lyric describes a common human trait; that of being blind to someone else’s plight by simply not taking a moment to put ourselves their position.

Drawing inspiration from an actual encounter with a young homeless woman, making her bed in a multi-story carpark on a freezing winter’s night, ‘All That She Wants’ is simply asking the listener to open their eyes and heart. That may mean buying a coffee, donating a coat or blanket, or simply taking a minute to put yourself in their position and consider what their life story might be. We are all, potentially, only a couple of pay-cheques away from life on the street.
